Dementia Caregiving

Dementia Caregiving is a specialized Level 3 training program designed to prepare learners for professional dementia care in both local and international healthcare settings. This 3-month (360-hour) course combines essential theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on training to help participants provide safe, compassionate, and person-centered care for individuals living with dementia.

The program covers Alzheimer's disease, vascular dementia, Lewy body dementia, frontotemporal dementia, communication skills, memory care, behavior management, personal hygiene, nutrition, infection prevention, patient safety, daily living support, and emotional well-being. Learners will develop the skills to manage common dementia-related challenges such as confusion, agitation, wandering, and cognitive decline while promoting dignity and improving quality of life.

Upon successful completion, graduates will be equipped to work confidently in hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, residential care facilities, home care services, and other healthcare environments.
